Summary

  • Move .agent/onboarding.md to .agent/aidevops/onboarding.md
  • Update AGENTS.md: remove from Main Agents table
  • Update AGENTS.md: add to aidevops/ subagents list

Problem

The /onboarding command failed with:

Error: File not found: ~/.aidevops/agents/aidevops/onboarding.md

The command expected the file in aidevops/ subfolder, but it was in the root.

Solution

Move the file to match the expected path. This is the correct architectural decision because:

  1. By function - onboarding is a wizard for setting up the aidevops framework, not a separate domain
  2. By analogy - aidevops/ already contains similar files: setup.md, troubleshooting.md, mcp-integrations.md
  3. By declaration - the file declares mode: subagent, not a main agent

Testing

  • ./setup.sh deploys file to correct location
  • /onboarding command path references correct file
  • Old file location cleaned up

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • Documentation
    • Reorganized agent documentation structure, reclassifying onboarding content under framework internals for improved navigation and discoverability.

✏️ Tip: You can customize this high-level summary in your review settings.

- Move .agent/onboarding.md to .agent/aidevops/onboarding.md
- Update AGENTS.md: remove from Main Agents table
- Update AGENTS.md: add to aidevops/ subagents list

This fixes /onboarding command which expected the file in aidevops/
subfolder. Onboarding is a framework setup wizard, logically belonging
with other aidevops subagents (setup, troubleshooting, etc.).

372-372: Inconsistency between AI summary and visible changes.

The AI summary states "Removed onboarding.md from the Main Agents table" but no removal is visible in the Main Agents table (lines 349-365). The actual change shown here correctly adds "onboarding" to the aidevops/ subagents list, which aligns with the PR objective of moving the file to the aidevops/ subfolder.

The change itself is correct and follows progressive disclosure principles from the learnings.

Summary of Changes

Hello @alex-solovyev, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request addresses a critical file path discrepancy that was causing the /onboarding command to fail. By relocating the onboarding.md document to its correct architectural position within the aidevops/ subfolder, the change ensures the command functions as intended. This move also improves the logical organization of documentation, aligning the file with other framework-internal resources and enhancing overall system consistency.

Highlights

  • File Relocation: The onboarding.md file has been moved from .agent/onboarding.md to .agent/aidevops/onboarding.md to correct an architectural inconsistency and resolve a file not found error.
  • Documentation Update: The AGENTS.md file has been updated to reflect the new location of onboarding.md, removing it from the main agents list and adding it to the aidevops/ subagents section.
  • Command Fix: This change resolves an issue where the /onboarding command failed because it expected the onboarding.md file to be located within the aidevops/ subfolder.

Closing in favor of fixing the command generator path. The file should stay in root as a main agent; the bug is in generate-opencode-commands.sh pointing to the wrong path.
